I really enjoyed looking through your "Eagles of Homer" gallery. I'm heading there in the first week of March to photograph the eagles. My friends live in Homer and have been trying to get me to visit in the winter for years just for this purpose. And now that Jean Keene (the Eagle Lady) has died, this will be the last year that Homer will allow feeding of the eagles. They are permitting her assistant to continue feeding until March 27 so it was now or never for me.

Nice eagle photos. I lived in Alaska for 30 years and in sitka & Juneau for 11 of them. I would HIGHLY recommend a trip toHaines in November during the eagle festival there hundreds of eagles in a two mile stretch of river for the last open water run of salmon....it is really awesome
