Immature Northern Shrike

This little bird of prey lives in the far north [ Canada] on the edge of the tundra, coming down into the states for winter. It is considered a song bird, but can take out rodents, and even other birds impaling them on a thorn or barbwire. It is my first photographic opportunity for one.
