It's the time of year for young birds to venture out on their own. The back roads are good places to find them. This pair were calling and calling for their parents. I settled in hoping for an interaction shot, but alas, after 20 minutes, two cars sped by and they flew away into some woods. They were still squawking for their parents when I left them.
