I decided to try and document The American Kestrel. I got my mating shots at various times, but watched a nesting box for a month. They are amazing and beautiful birds. I will be updating as there are many images from hours and days spent inn the field. As all opportunities are fleeting, I am glad I stuck with it. It was indeed a privilege. This nest box will be gone as a managed marsh will replace the fields the Kestrel needs to raise it's young.
