San Jorge Lodge is an eco-lodge only minutes from the Quito airport. It is about 1000 feet above and overlooking the city. It was a hacienda (ranch) but has been converted to guest accommodations. There are trails into native forest where many of these photos were taken. It is a very pleasant place close to the city but in a natural setting. There are hummingbird feeders in the courtyard and the show is amazing!
