Podocarpus N. P.

Near Loja is the Cajanuma entrance to Podocarpus National Park which protects east-slope montane forest which spills over to the west slope of the eastern cordillera. This beautiful temperate forest lies at 9000 feet and above. From Podocarpus National Park, we drove south with the afternoon sun lighting the mountains and fantactic cloud formations.
