Photos from our winter getaway to Mazatlan on January 30th - February 10th. We stayed at The Pueblo Bonito Hotel at the far end of the golden zone. We were quite impressed with Mazatlan. After hearing for years from other travelers we met in The Southern regions of Mexico that it wasn't the place to go, we would have to disagree! The tempertures were quite moderate, around 82 mid-day, a little cool in the mornings and evenings but it was a nice change from mid 90's in the Myan Rivera area. The town was much better kept than I thought it would be for being one of the first resort areas in Mexico. As always, the people were very friendly and the prices were much lower than what's been going on down in the Tulum and Cozumel areas. And I guess the best recommendation one can give is that we will go back at some point! Can't forget the sunsets, WOW!
