I found this Great Grey perched on a lay down branch in the ditch, drove past a couple hundred feet and turned around to put me on his side of the road. I shot this right from the truck at around 40 feet. Right after I took these shots, he plunged into the ditch bank and popped back up on his perch with a meal. That shot is the next photograph!
