Alaska: The Inside Passage

Photos from our recent cruise to SE Alaska aboard the Holland cruise ship Westerdam. Our trip began in Seattle where we had a couple of days to wander the market area and check out the city. Our cruise took us to Hubbard glacier, Juneau, Sitka, and finally Ketchikan. We had two shore excursions, a whale watching trip out of Juneau and a Sea Otter quest in Sitka. We rounded off the trip with a day and a half in the Mt. Rainier national park.

I really like the pictures, reminds me of a couple years ago we took a trip through there on a cruise ship, sadly I did not have a DSLR at the time. The work looks very nice, captures the place and mood well.

My wife and I are leaving for almost the sme trip in two weeks. Your pictures were a great preview. Your whale and orca shots were outstanding. I'm hoping to get a few pictures of them also. From looking at the weather in your pictures we are going to wear some warm clothes as we are from Florida and not used to the cold. Cheers, George
