Stony Brook, Keuka Lake, Loon Lake

On Friday August 26 Ben and I set out on a weekend camping/kayaking trip to the western Finger Lakes region of New York. We camped at Stony Brook State Park, visited Keuka Lake, Hammondsport and the Glenn Curtiss Museum, then kayaked at Loon Lake. A fun trip.

So beautiful and SO different from our camping trip the very same weekend in Chalk Creek Canyon. All that water!!! I like the picture of the stairs. Reminds me of this place we used to go when we lived in Albany. Can't believe I have fond memories of that!!

Looks like a great time Don, the Finger Lakes area is soooo gorgeous. I go to Stony Brook every year, at least 2-3 times, plan on going in the fall this year, should be beautiful. Spending the time with your son before he graduates is wonderful, my daughter graduated from SUNY Brockport and headed off to Virginia Beach and my son followed shortly after, by joining the Marines, thus the reason for us getting our new puppy. :-)
