One thing that's so important about photographs is that they can capture a small history that only locals might really appreciate. This winter, way out here in Oregon, I have told a few people about the tobbagan runs at Chestnut Ridge and no one believes me. Well, here they are, just like I remember them. Why are they not in use? Too many lawsuits? Anyway, great shot!
