This lamp is new, actually there are two of them and there is a story.

Back in October I mentioned a broken lamp shade. (See the story here http://www.pbase.com/dhnieman/image/69507478 )

Well instead of replacing a broken lamp shade it seems we needed two new lamps including two new lamp shades. Oh well!
