Frozen Marina

I got a new monitor at work, a flat screen LCD. Wow, my photographs sure look different. They look really over exposed. At home a photo that looks actually under exposed appears like it is exposed properly at the office monitor. So today's image is intentionally underexposed here at home and will see how it comes out on the monitor at work.

If you look closely at the dock structures you can see the ice pushed up along the pylons. Here is a closer shot.

The entire composition of this one is great. I love the curve of skeleton trees, the lights...and yes the hydrant too. GMV Don.

Thanks Adrian, that's nice of you. I actually thought a couple times about including the Fire hydrant and stuff around it, but the curve of the marina seemed so important, I decided to leave the hydrant in and not crop in PS.
