If you have the opportunity to visit the Falls, and it is during the summer, take the time to do the Cave of the Winds tour. This takes you to the bottom of the American Falls and allows you to follow steps right up to the wall of the falls. Water from the Bridal Falls will actually cascade over your head and shoulders if you are so inclined to get that close. You will really appreciate the power of the water flowing over the falls.
