The Electric Tower in downtown Buffalo, NY. It is from this building that each New Year the ball drops. The square is packed with people.

The power company that owned this recently moved out of downtown Buffalo and left this building behind.

This was a lovely day in Buffalo, to see more shots of Electric Tower and the Gold Dome Buffalo Savings Bank please go here http://www.pbase.com/dhnieman/around_the_city

Great shot, Don! I wonder if the Electric Building is to Buffalo what the Terminal Tower is/was to Cleveland?

I love building shots. This image give you a wonderful perspective of how big the building is. I also love the Contrast against the dark blue sky... Wonderful image.

Another fine architectural shot. You really capture the scope of these grand buildings well. The cooperative blue sky as a backdrop certainly didn't hurt matters either. Great catch.

That's a beautiful building Don. Have seen the ball drop but midnight doesn't really show how good this place is.
