Well it works for me... my wife has a few of these at home as well, but we've skipped the angel ones because we don't like the wings much (they look a bit harch compared to the figures) so having less of the wing doesn't detract for me. Also the fabric draws your eyes to the right, which helps too.

The angle for this photo is great. How come you decided to crop the kid's wing off on the left though? :(

these are lovely figurines, and the lighting is very complimentary . . my only suggestion would be to possibly include all of the sitting angel's wings if you shoot this another time =]
