The Empire Games venue for the cycling criterium races was the village streets of East Aurora. I only had opportunity to catch the 45-54 Men's Masters Race, I could not stick around for the Men's Open; none the less these proven Masters provided real excitement as they raced the turns around the corners in EA. Volodymyr Spantchak (Red white and Blue), of Fairport won the race, while East Aurora’s own, Chris Tirone (White Yellow and Black Jersey with Green FORTIST shorts) and Chris Fuller had a great race. They finished 5th and 6th respectively.
