Falconry

Since I was very young I had an interest in birds which opened my eyes to raptors. While reading about hawks and falcons, I found references to falconry. This gallery is comprised of photos of my raptors and my close friends birds relating to the practice of falconry.

Oh wow, how exciting!!! I have a friend who is a licensed raptor rehabilitator. I transport (pick up) birds for him on occasion. I got to pick up a Bald Eagle this year. I get to see his educational birds up close, he too has a Harris Hawk and a Peregrine, as close as I'll ever get to them. Fabulous gallery. Thanks for commenting on my Cooper's Hawks so I could follow your photos.
