This is a bobcat? This looks like what I saw this morning (5/1/08), and I thought it was a lynx because of the tufts of hair, and it's small size, like a very big house cat, but too big to be a house cat, and the coloring was just beautiful, very much like the photo here.
It was considering coming in the kitty door! My cat is still hiding under the bed (smart cat!).
