| Normally you can walk across the river on the top of the dam, and people do, although asked not to as the dam was built in the 1930s by the Civilian Conservation Corp, a make work group for the unemployed, and its not in great shape. If you fall off, there are a few big alligators here to welcome you. But for the water to have risen high enough to flow over the top shows how much rain Florida is getting these days. |
