It is official

Well, here is an odd little thing.
I changed my marital status at work today.
It is my first day back from the vacation
that I took following my divorce.
It is just another sign of all this.
Another part of the road I am traveling down.
I am sure that sometime in the future these will all seem normal.
I will look back at these pictures and wonder about it all.
I am divorced.
Something I never thought I would be.
I wonder now what other things I will be that I never thought I would?
I have a feeling there will be lots of those.
If I am doing this well with it after a week?
Yeah, there are great things in my future.
I will be marking the road with little breadcrumbs like this.
Small signs that things are totally different now.
Any rule that was there needs to be looked at again.
Evaluated with new eyes and judged useful or not.
The ones that are not need to be laid at the side of the road and left there.
The ones that are worth need to be kept.
The new ones along the way?
Well those will make me who I will be.

Onward into the void.
