Small Honors

It was such a quick moment.
Probably considered mundane by most.
That might be what makes it important to me.
I know she won't remember it.
But I will remember it.
I wonder if she will see this years from now.
Would she know what it meant to me?
Will she understand why?
Things like this make me still love life.
Heck, it amazes me to this day.
You think you know everything.
And then you learn you know nothing.
Just because you were given a small honor.
