Beware the Visitor’s Center. First, my tour guide informed me I could not bring my camera bag. Then I could not bring my camera because it did not have a strap. Then I could not take pictures within the house, at all, except for the first room. On my way out, after the tour, I heard another tour guide tell his group that no flash photography was allowed, but that everything else permitted. I don’t use flashes in museums. I drove from Texas just to be shut down by an ill-informed employee.
