Woodmere Park is a small public park off Jacaranda Blvd. in Venice, Florida. On our first visit, several Ibis' were lounging on the bank of a small pond near the public tennis courts. On our second visit to the park, this lone Ibis was foraging along the same pond. Showing no signs of nervousness, I was able to approach close enough to take this photo with a short lens.
