Saturday September 6 2008, the Western Prototype Modelers Meet was held for the 19th year in La Habra, CA. We had a good crowd, but down a little from previous years possibly due to the date change. This year we were joined by the Layout Design SIG and the 1/87 Vehicle Club. Five great Clinics were presented in a separate room, by Tim Costello, Bruce Morden, Tony Thompson. Steve Dunham and Tom Bacarella. We had over 1300 models on raised tables for easy viewing , an operating N scale Free-mo Modular layout and a single HO module. Manufacturers present included A-Line, BLMA, Microscale, Cannon & Company, Details West, Tangent Scale Models, Rail Yard Models, Railmaster Hobbies Custom N DCC, A-Line/PPW and the Santa Fe Historical Society.
