May 12 through 15, 3005 Tim Costello and I flew to Albuquerque MN for a Railfan weekend across New Mexico and Western Texas. We were joined on the trip by Tim Harris, and later hooked up with Carter Osborne in Amarillo TX. Brian put about 1200-1300 miles on his truck in the 4 days and I shot 1124 images. Thursday the 12th we headed West getting almost to the Az. boarder and worked our way back. Friday we headed east on 40 to Clines Corner and then dropped down to Encino and picked up the Transcon, which we followed to Clovis, then up to Amarillo. Saturday Carter took us around Amarillo and then we headed NW to Dalhart and Trincherra Pass on the old C&S line. That was a LONG day by the time we got back to Brians at 2:00AM. Sunday we only managed a quick run to Abo Canyon before flying back.
