F Unit Shots

Some views of the set of Santa Fe F units I made from Highliner shells on highly modified Genesis drives. The underframes have been modified with full underbody detail using some parts made by Hi-Tech Details, and a bunch of scratch built parts. The layout pictures are on the La Mesa Club's Tehachappi layout in San Diego.

Squared opening for coupler in pilot.		 A piece of Evergreen styrene was shaped to fit the radius of the opening, and glued in place.

Not sure when you will get this, but what did you make your footsteps on the pilot from? I don't think any commercially parts are available.

if I had only seen the first 4 pictures and ignored the rest I would have said that you had found a way to shrink the prototype to HO size. What a beauties!
