After Curemont, we got back in the car and started the long journey "home" to Turenne - about 15 kms away. Luckily, I was able to complete the drive in daylight, and we safely arrived back in the village. Jules, Robyn, Mona and I had a beer together at the bar in the lower village, and decided to eat dinner together later. Mona had a better idea for before-dinner drinks than where we were, though. She suggested that Jules and Robyn join us on the garden terrace at our B&B for a bottle of wine. We went back, and asked our host, Denis, if we could buy a bottle of wine. He brought a bottle of red wine out to us on the terrace and we sat in the late afternoon sun drinking wine. Denis even brought a bowl of fresh figs for us to eat with the wine. Manifique! After that dinner was a delight, too. When dinner was over - about 10:30 - we headed back to our room, but got waylaid when we saw the view of the tower and chateau. I think you'll agree...Turenne is a pretty special place
