These were taken in and around the Butts Bridge area ( I live not too far away ) and know the buildings well. What price the history !! If these buildings could shout out and retell the goings on inside, & out, come to think of it, that have been the fabric of once proud products by workers of rich masters of cotton from many years ago. The waterways that silently slip by, carrying ghosts of a type of craft that we ner' see now, the numerous bridges & locks that helped bring in the raw, & carry the finished product to far off lands. These are buildings that scream out for equality for all, but now lie idle, another page in the history of industrial revolution of our area. They are testiment to our children and our children's children of a bye gone age that, hopefully will never return
