Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig

"Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig" means "Work together for the Pasig River".

The Pasig River is the Philippines' most prominent river system. It is in appalling condition. Everyday it is used as a giant dumping ground, for everything from commercial to human waste.

It was not always like this. Less than 100 years ago, families used to picnic along its edge.

Kapit Bisig para sa Ilog Pasig was launched on February 24, 2009. Its goal is to rehabilitate the Pasig River.

The project is being run by Gina Lopez of the ABS-CBN Foundation.

sobrang dabest...generous tlga tau mga pinoy...being a participant of this event a run for ilog pasig is a great pleasure...gusto ko naman maging ilog warrior...nkkaingit kc makita ung mga taong extending thier helping hands. i want to becomea part of it, a warrior....

amazing people...
akalain nyo sa mabaho at maduming ilog pasig cla namumuhay.
pero dapat ilipat n cla ng matitirahan mahirap kasi ung kalagayan nila..

and ung waste nila lahat npupunta sa ilog dapat alagaan nila un..
