This is as close as it got to a sunset just before 1:00am.

I was standing on tundra which was like walking on a wet sponge 18" deep,
so this was as close as I was going to get to the pond.

This was also about the point that I was thinking,
Hmmmmmmmm,
just maybe,
I should head back to Anchorage
which was 2-1/2 hours away...

More time to photograph or get some sleep before the early flight?
