Highway 266 at dusk on the way to Beatty, Nevada to see Rhyolite Ghost Town.
I've always wanted to just stop the car and stand in the middle of the highway
with no other cars in sight, to get that "long stretch" shot
with the highway fading into the distance.
Maybe it's because as a kid
my father would never stop like this on the family road-trip vacations;
it was always about getting somewhere and less about the journey itself.
