Lovely, truly. This shot has two extraordinary components; first, the small petal at 3:00 which, if flat, should be totally out of focus. However, since it is an imperfect petal it curves nicely back into focus, giving my eye another nice blur/transition on which it can focus. Second, the smooth gradient to the background allows the flower to stand out as if it is floating, suspended in 3-D animation as if by magic.
