Mara River Camp

The Mara River Camp was located along the Mara River just outside the Masai Mara. This was another perament tented camp. Our tent overlooked a hippo pond -- a lot of grunting came from that pond!

Unfortunately this camp is no longer operational.

I spent 2 nights in the camp in 1987, and it still looks just like I remember. The best vacation I have ever had.

Fantastic photos!!!!Reminds me of kenya which is my home country and i actually worked at the mara river camp and amboseli serena back in kenya,apparently am in florida,
