King's Pool

The Linyanti River serves as the border between Namibia and Botswana. King's Pool camp is on an oxbow lake adjacent to the Linyanti River. During the dry season, the oxbow lake is one of the few sources of water in the area and is filled with hippos and elephants. Highlights at King's Pool included seeing a pack of 16 wild dogs, the rare Roan and Sable antelope, and a pride of lions stalking and treeing a leopard.
