Unlike the first session, I wanted to shoot to an Incandescent-area white balance,so I taped a TN-A1 gel over the 285's head,and set the D2x to Incandescent. This gave reasonably accurate fleshtones and color on the flash-lighted foreground,and pleasant rendering of the mini-lights in the background. Flash is from a 285 set to either 1/16 or 1/4 power and Wide inside a Lastolite umbrella box enclosed umbrella on a regular lightstand from around 7-8 feet away from the subject.
