It's obvious that despite the bright sunlight, I missed the point of best focus by a few millimeters. With the lens stopped down to taking aperture,the view through the finder was pretty dim and I only shot one photo of this,so I got no second chance to get a perfectly sharp image of the tiny spider eggs.
