This is Chuck from Fuji SLR Talk's quick suggested way to get a sepia tone image. "Go to hue & saturation, click on colorize. Use 31-35-11 for the settings or adjust to taste." I did just that and made this 20-second web reduction from a random JPEG. For a slam-bang, auto-conversion,I think it looks quite good. Thanks Chuck, for this handy, quick sepia tone tip. This is a miniature rose bloom, and on-screen is about 2.5x the actual,real-world size of the flower. I used full rear defocus control on this shot to really, really throw the background out of focus, but to keep the rose sharp. I focused stopped-down to place my DOF zone for this shot. The 135 DC lens I have is a first-gen, old beater of a lens, but it works surprisingly well as a closeup lens with either the 12mm or 20mm extension tubes added.
