At The Park March 29,2003

The FIRST warm,lovely sunny March day in about 26 days got me and my wife to go down to a local area waterfront park. I took the S2 and my 80-400 VR lens and snapped a few photos. Here is one of my favorite pictures from the afternoon. I took two exposures of this crow in this exact pose. On the prior frame,there's a nice catchlight in a black crow's eye. On this shot, the crow's inner eyelid is down,echoing the pale blue sky's coloration. It's sort of an eerie look. I much preferred this exposure,simply because it's such a different look for a crow.
