Me fighting a large chinook salmon. This fish was hooked at 40 pulls using a Deep Six and a tri-color Rhys Davis Herring Special head holder and a brined blue-label herring in about 160 feet of water about 250 yards North-Northwest of Slip Point during a windy, rough night of fishing in which the wind and swells made boat-handling a very difficult proposition. This was the first time I had ever tried a fluorocarbon leader, courtesy of neighboring fisherman Dennis Cepa. Seaguar 30 pound fluorocarbon, 46 inch leader, two 4/0 Mustad 92553 chrome-plated hooks. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S4fY5SzlDdo
