You are right John , the 650SS , on which this machine is based was made from '62-'66 IIRC , and those top half fairings put me in mind of the early '70s. Mine used to vibrate like hell, but I wish I had still got it Where did all the intervening years go ??

Speaking as someone who was there at the cafes, on a 58 Gold Star. I dont remember anything like this, possibly it is a lot later.
