Although I have quite a few selective colour images, i am not actually a great fan of this..for me of course there is a but,...to my eye some things just shout out selective and I give them a try, for my eye if they work then that is good enough for me !.

your eye did not deceive....a rolling drum down the stiff grass path. Better though, a gigantic spool of golden thread heading your way, unless it leaves the frame first!
