Pile Lighthouse

Tayport, Fife

This old wooden 'lanternhouse' built in 1848 served as a lighthouse until 1960.
Today it's used as a perch by Cormorants!

Excellent capture! ~V~

If I am not mistaken it is decommissioned, right and occupied by nesting birds, right? Funny, how similar this looks to my find https://pbase.com/wintermeer/image/167035265
