Abandoned my walk along the Union Canal towpath today due to an Open Day being held at the Canal Basin.
A lot more people around than usual, including aquatic scientists stunning fish with 'electro fishing gear.'
They were being moved to another section of the canal prior to it being drained for maintenance purposes!
