I was unaware of Neidpath Castle until I stumbled upon it
during a walk along the banks of the River Tweed.
Built in the 14th century it has been visited over the years
by Mary, Queen of Scots, Oliver Cromwell, Sir Walter Scott
and William Wordsworth. And now me, of course!
