Field of Light, a contemporary light-based work by artist Bruce Munro,
is currently on display at St Andrew Square, Edinburgh
It has 9,000 glass orbs rising from illuminated stems and
"bursts into bloom" at dusk. The spheres light up and change colour.
Unfortunately I've only ever seen it when it's switched off during
daylight hours ~ more like a Field of Darkness!
