Steve on DVD each day
Terri Irwin has told how she and her two children, Bindi and Robert, watch a DVD of her late husband every morning.
The Crocodile Hunter's widow has also admitted she rarely visits Steve's secret grave site but plans to take her youngest child there on his fourth birthday on December 1.
"I don't have to go where he is buried. He is with me all the time," said Terri, 43, who has played footage of Steve at breakfast every morning since his death.
"Every day we watch a daddy video and while having breakfast and, for the kids, it's almost like he is still with us.
"We've got so much wonderful footage of Steve that he'll be a part of us forever."
Terri is also set to release a book later this month: Steve And Me: My Life With The Crocodile Hunter.
While tabloid rumours have linked her with Steve's friend and manager John Stainton Terri has denied any romance in her life - or even considering it.
"Good luck with that," she tells New Idea, referring to Steve as a hard act to follow.
A year after Steve Irwin's tragic death, Terri tells the magazine how she loves him more than ever and how she copes with the challenge of life without him.
Terri admits that she is still grieving, but she hides it from the children.
"My grief comes very easy. It's hard to believe you start coping better with time. When you lose someone, as time passes, you miss them more and more, not less. I miss Steve more than ever."
