IS it the ultimate in hero worship or a cynical attempt to cash in on the fame of Steve and Terri Irwin?

When people back home in New Zealand told Ron and Nicki Vanderlem they looked like the late Crocodile Hunter and his wife, they began dressing in khaki and appearing at fetes and the like.

Now in the middle of a 10-day visit to the Sunshine Coast – complete with stuffed crocodile and boa constrictor – they say it's all about paying tribute to Steve Irwin, rather than cashing in on his fame.
