Terri Irwin caught up in bitter sweets feud
A BITTER legal war has erupted over a line of lollies backed by Terri Irwin and Australia Zoo.
Croc Chocs and Zoogle Jellies were launched last year by Ms Irwin amid a blaze of publicity.

The packaging features a photo of Steve Irwin and part of the profits are donated to the zoo's conservation projects.

But the firm behind the idea, The Incredible Chocolate Company, and its chief Noel Watson, have been accused of "misleading and deceptive" conduct and breaking trade practices law.

Blackburn business Trade Max Developments, given the right to make and distribute the sweets under a deal with TICC, launched a County Court action late last month.

Trade Max is claiming back $150,000 it deposited with Mr Watson's company last year as part of their deal, which later collapsed.

But Mr Watson, who was served with the writ last week, said he planned to "vigorously" defend the matter.

Australia Zoo has distanced itself from the feud.

"This is an issue between Incredible Chocolate Company and its distributor," spokeswoman Emma McCudden said.
