Widow Dismisses Steve Irwin Rumours
Steve Irwin was often called the Crocodile Man because of his love of crocs. He had also courted controversy when he took his then one month old son, into a crocodile enclosure whilst he fed the animals. Such was his love for the creatures, but did that love extend to his last wishes?
Now his name is making the headlines once more over a bizarre ceremony that some people claim to have been carried out in accordance with his last wishes.
Some staff members at Australia Zoo, where Steve worked, in Queensland, along with other key figures, have circulated the rumour for some years now that parts of Mr Irwin were fed to his favourite crocodile, Bindi.
Now after a lengthy silence on the matter, Irwin’s widow Terri has come forward to tell of her disgust at the “offensive” and “baseless” rumours.
